How much does an energy storage system cost?

The price depends on the capacity and power, the technology and whether the storage works with photovoltaics and a backup power function. Industrial (BESS) storage is quoted individually based on the consumption profile.

We prepare every quote after analysing the data, not from a catalogue. Subsidies are available for homes and businesses that lower the cost of the investment.

What capacity should I choose?

The capacity is matched to the real consumption profile, not to catalogue assumptions. For businesses we analyse the 15-minute interval profile, the tariff and the peak power; for homes the annual consumption, the size of the PV system and savings goals.

Does the storage work without photovoltaics?

Yes. It can be charged with grid energy on a cheaper tariff and used at peak (arbitrage), and also as backup power. It delivers the greatest benefits, however, paired with photovoltaics, because it lets you use almost 100% of the energy produced.

Does it provide backup power?

Yes, with the right configuration the storage powers selected circuits during power outages. In businesses and farms it protects critical processes (cold stores, pumps, server rooms), and in housing communities emergency lighting, lifts and alarms.

What is the warranty?

Solplanet storage systems and inverters come with a 10-year manufacturer warranty. Industrial BESS storage has a 5-year warranty with the option to extend to 10 years. LiFePO4 cells deliver a minimum of 6000 cycles.
